1) Set up your user account
As soon as you become an AgencyBloc user, you’ll want to go into your account settings, so you can personalize it, and review your login credentials and security. To access your account settings, click on the green Profile & Settings icon in the top right-hand corner and select My Account from the dropdown list.
- Edit Your Info & Profile Photo
Update your username, password, and email address. Personalize your account by adding a profile photo. Your photo will appear in place of the green Profile & Settings icon, as well as activities that you create and append. - Set Two-Step Verification
Add your cell phone number so you can receive single-use SMS codes to securely log in to your account. - Set Time Zone
Having the correct time zone is important because it affects how you view activities on the calendar, Activities Dashboard, and record timestamps across AgencyBloc.
2) Review records
Within 1-3 weeks of starting AgencyBloc, you’ll want to have a firm understanding of the different record types and how you’ll use them in your day-to-day. See the record-related Help articles in this guide for more information.
You’ll use these records to track data on your book of business in place of spreadsheets and paper files. Once you understand where your data is stored, you can comfortably start using AgencyBloc’s more advanced features, such as commission processing, Automated Workflow, and reporting.
- Working with Individual Records
You need individual records to track individual data and relationships (notably spouse and dependents), and create individual policies and elections and group policy enrollments, and process commissions. - Working with Group Records

3) Review activities
Within 3-4 weeks of starting AgencyBloc, you’ll want to have a firm understanding of activities and how you’ll use them in your day-to-day. See the activity-related Help articles in this guide for more information.
You can use activities to assign and track actionable to-dos, follow-up reminders, and events. Activities can also be used for auditing and E&O purposes because they cannot be deleted or modified.
- Your Activities Dashboard
Manage your personal list of to-dos and reminders on your Dashboard. Favorite the Activities Dashboard if you want to see it on your dashboard favorites (star) tab. - Using Email Forwarding
Turn email conversations into actionable to-dos and follow-ups or save them in AgencyBloc with Email Forwarding. - Outlook Email Sync
If you’re using the Windows-desktop version of Microsoft Outlook, you can download our Outlook Email Sync add-on to send your emails directly into AgencyBloc. - Activities Calendar Feeds
Add activities in AgencyBloc to a calendar, such as Apple Calendar and Google Calendar, using an iCal feed.

If you have Administration Permissions at your agency, you can customize the data and custom fields in your agency’s account to fit your business needs and processes. Please note, changes that you make will take effect immediately and apply to all users in your agency.
