Track carrier information and products in the carrier area. Carriers are represented as a pink-ish block. You can add carrier contact information, products, forms, web credentials, notes, and attachments. Additionally, you'll create carriers to use on policies. Learn more about working with carriers.
Basics of Carriers
Every carrier with policy information being tracked needs to be in the system. Each carrier only needs to be added once. Multiple policies can be created using the same carrier name.
Carrier Tabs & Summary
Store carrier data, contacts and custom information per carrier. After Carrier Detail, there are carrier specific tabs for further tracking carrier data and interaction.
The individual tab within a carrier is for storing carrier contacts - individuals working for that carrier which you may need to store. Individuals can be created from this page by selecting the “Create New” on the upper-right of the screen. This option will automatically create and tie the individual to the carrier.
The association of a pre-existing individual in the system to the carrier happens on the Individual Detail page. To add or edit group associations click the “Edit” button to the right of the association.
Create a record of interaction with the carrier. Please see creating & using activities for more information.
Store forms that are commonly used by carriers. “Create new” to bring in the form name, year, coverage type, and upload the form right into AgencyBloc.
Specify different products by Carrier. Add products to carriers using the “Create New” to the right. Please see coverages for more details.
Record the carrier portals, create clickable URL links, and store username/password for quick reference and website access.
Notes & Attachments
Create notes or attachments related to the carrier. To add a new note or attachment select create new in the upper-right.
The carrier summary includes contact info, websites, in force policies, current year commissions received by coverage type, open activities, and a pinned note.
Edit by clicking into any field to add/edit information. Once changes have been made scroll to the bottom of the page to select “Save”.
Customize the options in the drop downs and create custom fields for any extra information to be tracked. Please see data & custom fields settings for more information.
Delete a Carrier on the Agent Detail page. Carrier name will remain on old policies but no longer will be listed.
