Overview
Meet with clients face to face right from within AMS+ using our video conferencing tool. If their contact information is stored in AMS+, you can send consumers an easy to join invite to a video call. In addition to the standard video conferencing features, AMS+ can automatically record and store your video calls so you are always compliant.
Note: Video Conferencing is available to accounts with the Scale Package only.

How to start a video call
Everything is set up and handled within your web browser. All you have to do is go to a Sales Record to start the call and share the conference link with anyone you want to attend.
Note: Video conferences can have up to 50 participants at a time.
- Go to the Sales Record and select the ‘START VIDEO CONFERENCE’ button.
- When you hit the ‘Start Video Conference’ button, AMS+ will automatically send an email with the conference URL to the email address on record. If, for some reason, this does not happen, you can also manually share the link.
- Email with conference link URL:
How to manually share the conference link URL:
- Enter your name (everyone in the conference will see this name).
- Shortly before the conference starts, select the ‘JOIN VIDEO CALL’ button.
- Upon joining, you will be placed into a waiting room. Here, you can turn the default mic and video settings on or off. When ready, select the ‘Join Now’ button.
- Once you’ve joined the call, you can share your screen with all participants, chat, and record the call. When you’re finished, select the ‘Disconnect’ button.
Until you, the host, join the call, all other participants will see a blank “Waiting for the host to start the meeting” screen.
Video menu and settings
The video conference screen has a number of options available to the call host. You can:
- Mute and unmute your mic to talk.
- Start and stop video sharing to show your face in real time if you have a video camera.
- Share your screen with all participants.
- Screen sharing is view only. It does not allow for participants to take over each other's screens.
- Write and send chat messages on the call.
- Start and stop recording the conference session.
- Toggle the speaker view (the screen resizes to only show whoever is talking) and tile view (the screen resizes to show all participants at the same time).
- Manage your audio and video settings during the call.
Video recordings
To watch a video recording, go to the lead’s Sales Record and select the Video Recordings tab. Please note that this tab will only show if there are video recordings associated with the record.
You’ll see a “Composing” status next to video recordings that are still being processed. This typically takes only a few minutes but may take longer depending on the length of the video recording.
Once finished, you should see a “Completed” status, along with actions to download or delete the recording.
