Interpreting the data
What is a lead?
In AgencyBloc, leads are typically Group or Individual records. In this report, you’ll see Groups or Individuals with a type that belongs to the “Leads” Type Category.
To see meaningful data in this report, make sure you’re filling out the Type field on your Groups and Individuals, and using Type Categories.
How do I know when a lead was last contacted?
By looking at the Activity data, you can see when the last Activity was created for the lead and its status. If a lead’s last Activity was created a long time ago, you may want to contact the lead’s servicing agent for a progress update.
How do I know if a lead is qualified?
It depends on your business processes, but here are a few questions you can use to determine whether a lead is qualified. Please note, you will want to include Opp data to help you identify qualified/unqualified leads.
Does the lead have any Activities? | Does the lead have any Opps? | Is the lead qualified? | Reason |
Yes | Yes | Yes |
Typically indicates that someone has contacted the lead and is in the process of selling them something. |
No | Yes | Maybe | Typically indicates that someone is in the process of selling the lead something. Without any Activities, you may not know exactly how that process is going. |
Yes | No | Maybe | Typically indicates that someone has scheduled a to-do or follow-up for the lead. Check the lead’s Activity to see its progress. Without any Opps, it’s likely that the lead isn’t ready for a sale yet. |
No | No | No | Without any Activities or Opps, it’s likely that no one is actively working the lead. |
Also, lead’s Status and Type fields can help you determine its progress in your sales process.
