Working Medicare Advantage annual reviews one client record at a time makes it hard to see the size of the job ahead of you, or who still needs attention as Annual Enrollment closes in. The Annual Reviews tab on the agency dashboard gives you that view: every eligible client in one list, with a count badge and status across three things: their medication list, their review, and any quote sent.
Requirements
- To use the Annual Reviews tab on the Dashboard:
- You must be logged into AMS+ as an Agency User or Agent CRM User.
- You must be assigned to a Security Group with the Individual Visible permission.
- If you're an Agency User with access to All Individuals, you will see all Individual Records that qualify for an annual review on the Dashboard.
- If you're an Agent CRM User, you will only see Individual Records that are assigned to your Accessible Agent, and optionally unassigned records, on the Dashboard.
- To configure which Individual Records are eligible to appear on this list:
- You must be logged into AMS+ as an Agency User.
- You must be assigned to a Security Group with the Manage Data & Custom Fields permission. See Set up your agency for Annual Reviews in the individual Annual Review tab article for what to configure.
Open the Annual Reviews tab
Go to the agency Dashboard, and select the Annual Reviews tab.
The tab's count badge shows how many clients still need attention. Once you mark a client's review as reviewed, they stop counting toward the badge but stay on the list showing COMPLETE, so the badge and the number of rows are expected to differ as the season goes on.
The tab shows clients who hold an in-force policy categorized as Medicare Advantage. Both halves of that rule are configured by your agency, and neither is on by default: which coverage types count as Medicare Advantage, and which policy statuses are marked In Force. If the list looks empty or a client you expect to see isn't there, check both before assuming something's wrong.
An Edit coverage types link on the list opens the coverage type settings directly.
What's on the list
Each row shows: Client, Plan, Servicing Agent, Rx Collect Status, Review Status, and Enrollment Status.
- Plan stays blank until a review has been generated for that client. Being eligible for a review doesn't populate this column on its own.
- Rx Collect Status shows RECEIVED or REQUESTED with the relevant date, or a Collect button if nobody's requested the medication list yet. This is the same action as Collect on the client's own record, and requires your agency's AMS+ account to be on the Accelerate or Elevate package; see Rx Collect for its other prerequisites.
- Review Status shows a Start button if no review exists yet, GENERATED with the date once one has been created, or COMPLETE with the date once it's been marked reviewed.
- Enrollment Status shows Start Quote if no quote has been started, QUOTE SENT with the date and integration partner, or COMPLETE with the date and partner once the integration returns a completed enrollment. If your agency has no active quoting integration at all, this column doesn't appear on the list.
Selecting Start Quote here works exactly like Start Quote on the client's own record: it opens your agency's configured quoting integration (or a menu, if you have more than one) in a new destination, and doesn't save or change anything about the client's review.
Only the client identifier carries into the quote today, not the plan or county. The QUOTE SENT and COMPLETE dates reflect the integration partner's own timeline (when the record actually reached them, and when they returned a completed enrollment), not the moment you selected the button.
Note: This list reflects work done in AMS+, not urgency. A blank status or a client's position in the list doesn't indicate who to contact first.
Select a client's name to open their Annual Review directly. This list doesn't require a county or ZIP code on their Individual Record, but the Annual Review tab does, so a client here might not have that tab yet. If that happens, add a county or ZIP to the client's Individual Record. That's the fix, not something wrong with the dashboard.
Filter, sort, and export
Type in the search box to filter by client, plan, servicing agent, or status. Select any column header to sort by it, and use the page-size control to change how many rows show at once. Select Download list, then choose Annual Reviews (CSV) to export the current list as a CSV.
The View dropdown controls whose clients you're looking at. It lists each agent you're entitled to see by name, and, if you have the permission for it, an Agency option covering every agent at once. Without that permission your own name is preselected, and you'll see any other agents you've been individually granted access to alongside it.
Switching the view changes whose eligible clients you're looking at. It doesn't expand your own record-level access, so a client you can't otherwise see stays hidden no matter which view is selected.
