Getting reCAPTCHA
To get reCAPTCHA and setup keys, you’ll need a Google account. If you don’t have one, no worries, they’re free and only take a few minutes to set up. If you already have a Google account, you can go ahead and start adding keys.
- Go to Google reCAPTCHA (opens in a new window) to register your site.
- Sign in with your Google account.
- If you don't have a Google account, you can create one.
- Register a new site and choose reCAPTCHA V2.
- Please note, other versions of reCAPTCHA are not supported.
- Enter your domain name(s) and select register.
- One per line. Add as many as you need. Please note, you may see an error message in the lead form preview. You are seeing this error message because the reCAPTCHA is designed to work on your domain(s) only for security purposes.
- You’re all set!
- You’ll use the Site Key and Secret Key in AgencyBloc, so make sure to keep them on hand.

Common questions
Do I need to set up a Google account to use reCAPTCHA?
Yep! reCAPTCHA is a free Google service. So to use it, you’ll need a Google account.
I'm seeing an error message stating "ERROR for site owner: Invalid site key." What should I do?
When you are previewing the form in AgencyBloc, you'll see this message as reCAPTCHA is not set for the app site - it's just a preview. If you see this message after you place the lead form on your site, it means you need to update your key to include the domain where the form is posted.
What happens if I change the reCAPTCHA key or domain on Google’s site?
Good question. If you make changes to your reCAPTCHA keys on Google, you’ll want to make sure you make any needed updates inside AgencyBloc to keep everything working.
What should I do if I or someone who visits my site sees a message to enable JavaScript?
