Overview
Once you’ve set up the Phone Dialer for your agency’s account, you and other users can make calls from AMS+.
Dialer Requirement: Click-to-Call, DialQ, and Inbound and Outbound Dialer only work in these web browsers: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. Our Preference and what we use daily is Google Chrome.

How to make a call
There are a few ways to make calls from AMS+. If you have click-to-call turned on, you can initiate a call by simply clicking on a phone number in an Agent, Individual, or Sales Record. Refer to this article to learn how to turn on click-to-call.
If you have call queues set up, you can call leads with DialQ. Refer to this article to learn more about calling leads in call queues with DialQ.
Making calls with click-to-dial
Agent Records
Phone numbers on Agent Records are clickable.
Individual Records
Phone numbers on Individual Records are clickable.
Sales Records
Phone numbers on Lead Lists, Sales Records, and the Sales Dashboard are clickable.
Making manual calls
If you need to make a manual call, select the Phone icon in the AMS+ header and choose the ‘Launch Dialer’ option.
The page will refresh and you should see the Phone Dialer interface at the top of your screen.0
Select the ‘DIAL NUMBER’ button and manually enter a phone number. You can also choose from numbers in your phone book. Refer to this article to learn how to add numbers to your phone book.
How to receive a call in AMS+
The Phone Dialer must be active for you to receive calls in AMS+. If your Phone Dialer isn't open at the time you receive an inbound call, it will automatically go to voicemail.
You can receive inbound calls in AMS+ for numbers that you’ve purchased or ported into AMS+.
Here’s what an incoming call looks like in AMS+ if you have the Phone Dialer open:
Note: If a contact exists in AMS+ as a Sales Record and an Individual and you receive an incoming call, the Phone Dialer will always pull up the Sales Record.
Forward calls to your cell
If you’re leaving the office and want your calls sent to the forwarding number, turn on call forwarding before you log out of AMS+. If you stay logged in, calls will first ring on your phone number and then your forwarding number. But if you log out, calls will ring on your forwarding number right away.

How to play a recorded message
You can play recorded messages, such as Medicare disclaimers or disclaimers that the call is being recorded, at any time during the call. Refer to this article to learn how to create playable recordings.
- When on a call, select the ‘Play Recording’ option.
- Select the pre-recorded message you want to play.
- Select the ‘Play’ button.
- The recording will play for up to 2 minutes and 30 seconds before cutting off. Please note, the playable recording will be included in the call recording.
If you need to end the recording early, select the ‘Stop’ button.
How to leave a voicemail drop
A voicemail drop is a pre-recorded message that you can leave in someone’s voicemail inbox if you don’t reach them. Refer to this article to learn how to create voicemail recordings and set up voicemail drops.
- When on a call, select the ‘Leave Voicemail’ option.
- Select the pre-recorded voice message you want to use.
- Wait until you hear the “beep,” and then select the ‘DROP’ button.
- To personalize your message before making the drop, simply start speaking after the “beep” and then drop the pre-recorded voice message.
Voicemail drops left for a Sales Record will have a note stamped into it automatically. This note will include the date, time and name of the voicemail drop along with the name of the agent who made the call.
Common questions
Why can't I hear my call?
Check your computer’s sound settings to ensure the volume is turned on and set to an appropriate level.
- Verify the volume controls in your browser.
- Review your browser’s audio permissions and ensure that https://app.agencybloc.com is allowed to access audio.
- If your headset has external volume controls, confirm that the volume is on and adjusted properly.
- Check your internet connection to make sure it's strong and stable.
If a person forwards a call from their cell phone to AMS+, will that call be recorded by AMS+?
Yes. Any call that's routed through AMS+ at any point will be recorded.
