Blocking a number
You must belong to a Security Group with the ‘Visible’ Sales Enablement and the “Manage Users” Administrative permissions in order to add numbers to blocked call lists.
Blocking a number prevents calls from that number, ensuring you don't receive unwanted communications. Please note that it does not block text messages, which will still come through AMS+.
To block a number:
- Go to Settings.
- Navigate to the Sales > Phone Dialer & Call Queues setting and select the ‘Edit’ button.
- On the Phone Numbers tab, find a phone number you want to edit and select the … button in the Option column. Then, select the ‘Edit’ option in the dropdown menu.
- In the Blocked Numbers field, add which numbers you want to block calls from. Each blocked number needs to be on its own line.
- Save.
- Calls from the blocked number will be rejected on this phone number. To block it on other numbers, you need to add it to the blocked list on each of those numbers.
