Individuals with Policies
To import Individual Records along with their policy data, the following fields are required:
- Individual: First Name
- Individual: Last Name
- Carrier: Carrier Name
- Policy: Policy Number
- Policy: Policy Status
- Policy: Coverage Type
Notes:
- Each policy must have a unique Policy Number. Don’t use “0” or leave it blank. If you don’t have real numbers, use placeholders like Temp001, Temp002, etc. To avoid duplicates, add the date. For example: 080125Temp001.
- If any of the required policy fields are missing, the Policy Record will not be created or updated.
- If you only include the carrier name, a Policy Record will not be created, but the Individual Record will be associated with the Carrier Record as a carrier contact. Clients should not be listed as carrier contacts.
- For mass updates, it’s highly recommended to include IDs. You can export these from reports to ensure accuracy.
