This article explains how to copy an Enhanced Automated Workflow in AMS+. Copying a workflow lets you reuse an existing trigger, conditions, and actions as a starting point — without modifying the original. Copies open as drafts, so you can make changes before turning them on.
Requirements
- Automated Workflow must be activated in your agency's AMS+ account.
- Only the Account Owner can activate it. Learn more.
- You must be logged into AMS+ as an Agency User.
- You must be assigned to a Security Group with the Manage Automated Workflow permission.
Copy an Enhanced Automated Workflow
To get started, go to Automated Workflow and open the workflow you want to copy.
Select Create a copy. This immediately creates a duplicate of the workflow. The copy will be named “COPY – [original workflow name]” and saved as a draft.
From there, update the name, make any changes you need, then select Save & Turn On to activate it or Save to keep it as a draft.
