Creating a New Record
As you’re creating new agents, groups, and individuals, AMS+ is looking through your book of business for matching data values.
Matching data values
When matching data values are found, you will be alerted and given an option to view a list of potential duplicate records. We recommend reviewing the list to make sure there aren’t any duplicate records before continuing.
Note: AMS+ does not detect duplicate records when creating agents and individuals via Email Forwarding, Lead Forms, API, or during policy creation.

Common questions
Why do I see an alert that a record is a duplicate even though the individuals have different names?
Duplicates are detected based upon matching information. For example, if two individuals share the same email address, you’ll be alerted that the record may be a duplicate. When duplicates are detected, you can review details to determine if they really are duplicates.
Why do I see an alert that a record may be a duplicate but somebody else at my agency doesn’t?
Good question. Duplicates are detected based on the records a user has access to. So, if a user doesn't have access to both records, the duplicate will not be detected.
