Data flow
Data moves between AMS+ and Quote+ in two directions, each triggered manually and independently rather than automatically or on a set schedule.
- AMS+ to Quote+: When you select the Send to Quote+ button on a Group Record, the Group's Employer, Employee, and Dependent data is sent to Quote+. See what data is sent to Quote+.
- Quote+ to AMS+: Updated Employer and Employee data is sent back to AMS+ when a user selects the corresponding send option in Quote+. This article does not cover that direction; see this article for the full process and field mapping.
See Sending Group data to Quote+ for the full workflow, and Technical documentation for field-level mapping.
Limitations
- Individual Records with a Deceased Date, or an Employment Status of Retired or Terminated, are not sent to Quote+.
- Records missing required field data are not transferred to Quote+. See required field data.
- Data does not sync automatically. Each transfer is triggered manually.
Finding your agency number in Quote+
This integration requires an active Quote+ account and your agency's account number. If you already have an active Quote+ account, follow these instructions to find your agency's account number in Quote+. Then you'll have everything you need to activate the integration within AMS+.
- Log into your Quote+ account.
- In the left-hand navigation, select the Agency tab.
- On the Account Details page, find the Account Number field, and copy or write down numbers and dashes only.
Do not copy any letters.
Activating the integration (Administrator)
This integration's activation setup requires your agency's account number from Quote+. If you don't already have it, refer to this section to learn where to find it.
With your agency number in hand, you can begin setup:
- Go to My Agency Settings > Quote+.
- On the next page, you will see an overview of the AMS+ / Quote+ integration. If you already have a Quote+ account, select the Begin Setup button.
If you don't have a Quote+ account, select the Learn More link for more information about our group quoting and enrollment platform.
- On the next page, enter the account number for your agency in Quote+.
Enter numbers and dashes only. No letters or special characters.
- Save.
Removing the integration (Administrator)
Go to My Agency Settings > Quote+ and select the Delete button. You'll be asked to confirm before the integration is removed.
Deleting removes the integration connection and the Send to Quote+ button. It does not delete your Broker-to-Servicing-Agent mappings, the links between your AMS+ records and their Quote+ counterparts, or any data in your Quote+ account.
To use the integration again, complete setup from the beginning, including re-entering your agency's account number. If you reconnect using the same account number, your previous Broker mappings still apply.
Setting up the integration (Administrator)
Setting up preferences for syncing Dependents from Quote+ to AMS+
In the Create new dependents in AMS+ as… dropdown menu, select Full Individual Record or Text (Basic Info).
- Full Individual Record creates a standalone, detailed profile used for prospects, leads, and clients. It supports full AMS+ functionality, including Automated Workflow, Email Marketing, reporting, Rx Collect requests, form requests (SOA, ACA), calls, texts, and other features. Dependents synced from Quote+ are created as full Individuals. Identified by a solid block icon in Relationships.
- Text (Basic Info) creates a limited, non-standalone record typically used for dependents within another Individual's Relationships tab. It tracks basic information without AMS+ features like automation, reporting, Rx Collect, forms, calls, or texts. Dependents synced from Quote+ are created as text-only Individuals linked to the primary Individual. Identified by an empty block icon in Relationships.
Mapping AMS+ Servicing Agents to Quote+ Brokers
By default, Servicing Agents are not attached to Groups created or updated by this integration unless they are mapped to Brokers in Quote+. To get started:
- Go to the Quote+ integration's Mapped Agents tab. This tab displays a list of all active Brokers in your Quote+ account.
- Review each Quote+ Broker and add a Servicing Agent to each one.
When a Group is sent from Quote+ to AMS+, the integration will check its assigned Broker and attach the corresponding Servicing Agent to the Group.
When a Group in Quote+ has more than one mapped Broker, AMS+ attaches one of the mapped Agents as the Group's Servicing Agent and may assign the remaining mapped Agents to the Group's additional agent slots.
Sending Group data to Quote+ (Agency User, Agent CRM User)
Once the integration is activated in AMS+, users can send Group data to Quote+.
- Log into AMS+ and go to a Group Record.
- In the record footer, select the Send to Quote+ button to open the integration modal.
If the Group Record doesn't have a primary address, you'll get a message asking you to check and add the missing information. If the Group has a Tax ID, we'll also make sure it's correct. If the Tax ID isn't valid or doesn't follow the 9-digit format, you'll be asked to review and correct it.
- In the modal, select the Agency, Location, and Broker. The available options are pulled directly from your Quote+ account.
- In the Create or Update field, choose "Update Employer" or "Create Employer" from the dropdown list. When possible, we recommend updating to prevent duplicates in Quote+.
-
- If you're updating, a search field will appear. Enter the Employer's name exactly as it appears in Quote+.
- If you're creating, a new Employer will be added to your Quote+ account upon completion.
- When ready, select the Send button to transfer the Group Record and its employee and dependent information to Quote+.
Depending on your selection, Quote+ will either update an existing Employer or create a new one using the Group's data.
Note: Data does not sync automatically. To push updated Group data from AMS+ to Quote+, resend the Group Record using the Send to Quote+ button. Wait for a success or error message before sending a new Group again; sending the same new Group more than once without waiting will result in duplicates.

Troubleshooting
Data fails to send to Quote+ after an agency change in Quote+
This happens if your Agency is deleted, becomes a Sub-Agency of a GA in Quote+, or becomes an Independent Agency in Quote+. Any of these changes can invalidate the Agency Number saved in your AMS+ integration settings.
Go to Quote+ and verify that your Agency Number is correct and has not changed. If it has, copy the updated number into your AMS+ integration settings.
A Group stops receiving a Servicing Agent after previously getting one
This happens when the AMS+ Agent mapped to a Broker is deleted. Deleting an Agent also deletes every Broker mapping that Agent had, so Groups tied to those Brokers no longer have a Servicing Agent to attach.
Go to the Quote+ integration's Mapped Agents tab and map each affected Broker to a new Servicing Agent.
