This article explains how to configure Lead Temperature settings for Sales Records in AMS+. Each Sales Record has a Lead Temperature that indicates how much time has passed since its creation date. As the record ages, its temperature and color in the Lead List and Sales Dashboard changes from hot to warm to cool to cold.
The system automatically assigns temperatures by default, but you can let your users manually set them for each Sales Record.
Requirements
- You must be logged into AMS+ as an Agency User.
- You must be assigned to a Security Group with the Sales Enablement Visible and Manage Users permissions.

How to edit Lead Temperatures
- Go to My Agency Settings.
- Find and open the Lead Temperatures setting.
- Modify the time period for each temperature as you see fit.
You can choose from days, weeks, months, or years.
- Select the Save button after making changes.
How to set Lead Temperatures manually
In Lead Temperature settings, check the Check Box to Manually control the Temperature Settings for All Leads checkbox and save.
Upon saving, a Temperature field will appear on all Sales Records. Users may set or change the temperature of any Sales Record.
