This article explains how to enable SMS reply forwarding in AMS+ so that copies of SMS replies from Individual Records assigned to you are sent to your personal cell phone.

Requirements
- Your agency's AMS+ account must have at least one VoIP phone number. Learn more.
- You must be logged into AMS+ as an Agency User or Agent CRM User.
Add a cell phone number to your user account notifications
To forward SMS replies to your cell phone, add your mobile number to your profile's notification settings. Once saved, replies to SMS messages sent from Individual Records assigned to you will be forwarded to your cell phone.
Only replies associated with Individual Records assigned to you are forwarded. The sender's mobile number must exist on an Individual Record assigned to you in order for forwarding to occur.
Forwarded messages are copies of replies. If you reply to a forwarded message from your personal device, your text will be sent to your AMS+ phone number, not the original recipient.
Note: You can't reply to clients by responding to a forwarded message on your personal device. All SMS replies must be sent from within AMS+.
Enable SMS reply forwarding
- Go to My Account > Notifications.
- In the Notifications tab, locate the Send records SMS Replies to My Cell Phone? setting, and select the checkbox to enable it.
- Enter your mobile number in the Cell Phone # field.
- Do not enter a cell phone number that is already linked to any record in AMS+.
- Doing so can create a texting loop and trigger carrier spam filters, which may block messages to that number.
- Select the Save Update button.
Troubleshooting forwarded messages
If you are not receiving forwarded SMS replies, confirm that you are assigned to the Individual Record generating the SMS reply.

The following content applies only to accounts still using Sales Records. If you're unsure whether this applies to you, check your subscription package on the Subscription page. Accounts on Enhanced Records will show a package type that includes "+ Enhanced Records" (e.g., Accelerate + Enhanced Records). If your package does not include "+ Enhanced Records," this section applies to you.

SMS forwarding for Sales Records
SMS reply forwarding also applies to Sales Records. Replies to SMS messages sent from Sales Records assigned to you will be forwarded to your cell phone, provided the sender's mobile number exists on a Sales Record assigned to you.
If you are not receiving forwarded replies from Sales Records, confirm that you are assigned to the Sales Record generating the SMS reply.
Sales Enablement Visible permission
To use SMS reply forwarding with Sales Records, you must be assigned to a Security Group with the Sales Enablement Visible permission.
