Note for accounts using Sales Records: This article includes a Legacy components section with additional information that applies to your account.
Lead Advantage Pro is Senior Market Sales' (SMS) Medicare quoting and enrollment platform, allowing agents to quote and enroll Medicare Advantage, Med Supp, PDP, and Ancillary Plans from a single location. AMS+ integrates with Lead Advantage Pro® to enable quoting and enrollment directly from the platform.
With this integration, users can securely transfer Individual Records from AMS+ to Lead Advantage Pro for quoting and enrollment. Once an enrollment is completed, the Individual, Carrier Product, and Policy data is sent back to AMS+.
Lead Advantage Pro also integrates with Rx Collect, allowing prescription and provider information to be included in the data sent back to AMS+. Learn more about Rx Collect.
Note: Rx Collect data requires the Accelerate or Elevate package. Quoting and enrollment are available on all AMS+ packages.
This article covers activation, setup, and quoting with the integration. For a video tutorial, take this course in the AgencyBloc Academy.
Requirements

- You must also be an Administrator to access the integration's settings:
- You must be logged into AMS+ as an Agency User.
- You must be assigned to a Security Group with the Manage Users permission.
- Once the integration is activated, any Administrator can modify its settings or deactivate the integration.
Starting quotes
- You must be logged into AMS+ as an Agency User or Agent CRM User.
- To start quotes for Individual Records:
- You must be assigned to a Security Group with the Individual Visible permission.
- If you're an Agent CRM User, you need access to Individual Records assigned to your Accessible Agent, and optionally unassigned records.

Data flow
Data moves between AMS+ and Lead Advantage Pro in two directions, each triggered independently and on demand rather than continuously or on a set schedule.
- AMS+ to Lead Advantage Pro: When you select the Start Quote button on an Individual Record, the record's data is sent to Lead Advantage Pro. See what data is sent to Lead Advantage Pro.
- Lead Advantage Pro to AMS+: After an MA, MID, or PDP enrollment is completed in Lead Advantage Pro, the enrollment's Individual, Carrier Product, and Policy data is sent back to AMS+ according to the integration's sync settings. See data sent to AMS+.
See Starting quotes in AMS+ for the full workflow, and Technical documentation for field-level mapping in both directions.
Limitations
- A profile must originate in AMS+ for its data to return from Lead Advantage Pro. If a beneficiary uses your Lead Advantage Pro pURL to start and complete enrollment, their Individual and Policy data will not flow back into AMS+.
- Only enrollments completed through the Lead Advantage Pro site are sent to AMS+ — quotes labeled "MA & PDP" in Lead Advantage Pro. Medicare Supplement, Hospital Indemnity, Dental, Final Expense, Life, and LTC are not included in the integration.
- Carrier names cannot be mapped. Whatever Carrier name is received from Lead Advantage Pro is the Carrier name AMS+ uses, exactly as received from the API.
- Carrier Product data sent to AMS+ does not include attachments or files.
Activating the integration (Account Owner)
Go to My Agency Settings > Third Party Integrations > Lead Advantage Pro and select the Add to AgencyBloc… button.
Deactivating the integration (Administrator)
Go to My Agency Settings > Third Party Integrations > Lead Advantage Pro and select the Deactivate button in the top-right corner.
Hiding the integration (Account Owner)
If your agency does not use this integration, Account Owners can hide it from the Start Quote menu so agents do not see it as an option.
Setting up the integration (Administrator)
For a smooth and optimal setup:
- You need an account with Lead Advantage Pro. This is a separate subscription with Lead Advantage Pro that may include additional costs and fees outside of AMS+.
- Review your Carriers and Plans/Carrier Products in Lead Advantage Pro and AMS+. Their names need to match or the integration could create duplicate Carrier Records and Carrier Products in AMS+. We recommend changing the names in AMS+ to match Lead Advantage Pro.
- Some Lead Advantage Pro data can be stored in Policy Custom Fields. You may want to create Custom Fields for the Enrollment Confirmation Number and Plan ID.
In Lead Advantage Pro, an enrollment includes a beneficiary and Medicare plan. In AMS+, a beneficiary is the equivalent of an Individual Record and a plan is the same as a Policy.
| Lead Advantage Pro | AMS+ |
|---|---|
| Beneficiary | Individual |
| Plan | Policy (and optionally Carrier Product) |
When Lead Advantage Pro sends enrollment data to AMS+, we will take steps to put that data in the right places based on your integration settings. See below for more details.
Individual Records
By default, we will try to match Lead Advantage Pro beneficiaries to existing Individual Records. We'll first try to match on a unique AMS+ identifier in the URL. If this identifier is missing, we'll try to match on First Name, Last Name, and Date of Birth. If we can't find a match, we'll create a new Individual.
Then, we can optionally update all of the Individual's fields with the new info or only the address fields depending on your integration settings.
You can choose what happens in your integration settings. What Individual fields are updated?
Note: You can't start a profile in Lead Advantage Pro and send it to AMS+. The profile must originate in AMS+. If a beneficiary uses your Lead Advantage Pro pURL to start and complete enrollment, their data begins in Lead Advantage Pro, not AMS+. Because of this, their Individual and Policy data will not flow back into AMS+ after enrollment is complete.
Carrier Products
If you choose to bring over Carrier Product data, we will try to match Lead Advantage Pro plans to existing Carrier Products by Carrier Product Name. If we can't find a match, we can create a new Carrier Product depending on your Carrier Product Sync settings. What Carrier Product fields are updated?
Policy Records
By default, we will automatically create a new Policy Record in AMS+ for every Lead Advantage Pro plan. What Policy fields are populated?
Also, we will try to match the carrier in a Lead Advantage Pro enrollment to a Carrier Record by carrier name. If we can't find a match, we will create a new Carrier Record and associate it with the new Policy Record. The new Carrier Record's name will be the same as the Lead Advantage Pro carrier name. If we find a match, we'll associate the existing Carrier Record with the new Policy Record.
Assigning a Servicing Agent to Policy Records (Agency User or Agent CRM User)
If you want to assign a Servicing Agent to Policy Records created by the integration, you will need a Lead Advantage Pro User ID. This ID is located in your Lead Advantage Pro account under User Profile > User Details.
If you have this ID, go to My Account and link it to a Servicing Agent in your account profile.
- Go to My Account > Integrations.
- On the Integrations tab, select Lead Advantage Pro.
- Enter your Lead Advantage Pro User ID and select a Servicing Agent.
The specified Servicing Agent will be assigned to all new Policies created by the Lead Advantage Pro integration. You must have at least one Agent Record in your AMS+ account to set the Servicing Agent.
- Select Save.
If a valid ID was entered, all Policy Records created by this integration will be assigned to the specified Servicing Agent.
Starting quotes in AMS+ (Agency User or Agent CRM User)
Note: The Individual Record must originate in AMS+ if you want the enrollment to return to AMS+.
- Select the Start Quote button on an Individual Record and select Lead Advantage Pro from the menu.
- Enter your Lead Advantage Pro username and password. This sends the record's data to Lead Advantage Pro and logs you into Lead Advantage Pro in a new tab. See what data is sent to Lead Advantage Pro.
Lead Advantage Pro will prompt you to enter this information the first time you start a quote in AMS+. You will also be prompted again if you haven't logged into Lead Advantage Pro within the last 24 hours.
Note: If a matching lead already exists in Lead Advantage Pro, we link it to the AMS+ record by matching First Name, Last Name, and Date of Birth, and future AMS+ changes sync to that linked record. If multiple records share the same name, we'll also check Date of Birth (the search is not case sensitive). If that still doesn't find a match, we'll create a new Lead Profile, and manual work may be necessary.
- Complete enrollment in Lead Advantage Pro.
After an MA, MID, or PDP enrollment is completed in Lead Advantage Pro, the enrollment's Individual, Carrier Product, and Policy data is sent back to AMS+ according to the integration's sync settings. See enrollment sync settings | See data sent to AMS+
Technical documentation
Note: Rx Collect prescription, pharmacy, and provider data is included in the integration only for AMS+ accounts on the Accelerate or Elevate package. Agencies on other packages will still receive full quoting and enrollment sync functionality.

Troubleshooting
The quoting option directs users to contact their Account Owner.
Lead Advantage Pro isn't active in your account yet. Your Account Owner can activate it from My Agency Settings > Third Party Integrations. See Activating the integration.
Lead Advantage Pro username or password is rejected.
You'll see an error message on the Lead Advantage Pro login page if your credentials are incorrect. Re-enter them and try again, or reset your password directly with Lead Advantage Pro if the issue continues.
Lead Advantage Pro returns an error when sending a record.
AMS+ displays the error message returned by Lead Advantage Pro. Close the tab and try again, or contact Lead Advantage Pro support if the error persists.
An Individual's profile fails to load in Lead Advantage Pro.
This happens when the Individual's zip code has trailing spaces. Check the zip code for trailing spaces and remove them before selecting Start Quote.
An email address isn't showing up on the record in Lead Advantage Pro.
Lead Advantage Pro requires email addresses in the format name@domain.tld. If the email on the AMS+ record doesn't match this format, it's left out of the record we send. Update the email format in AMS+ and resend.
Legacy components
The following content applies only to accounts using legacy features that may no longer be present in all accounts. Some of this content is specific to accounts still using Sales Records. If you're unsure whether Sales Records applies to you, check your subscription package on the Subscription page. Accounts on Enhanced Records will show a package type that includes "+ Enhanced Records" (e.g., Accelerate + Enhanced Records). If your package does not include "+ Enhanced Records," the Sales Records content in this section applies to you.

How to start quotes from Sales Records
Note: The Sales Record must originate in AMS+ if you want the enrollment to return to AMS+.
- Select the Start Quote button on a Sales Record and select Lead Advantage Pro from the menu.
- Complete enrollment in Lead Advantage Pro.
After an MA, MID, or PDP enrollment is completed in Lead Advantage Pro, the enrollment's Individual, Carrier Product, and Policy data is sent back to AMS+ according to the integration's sync settings.
Sales Record permissions
To start quotes for Sales Records, your assigned Security Group must also have the Sales Enablement Visible permission. You must also have user account Sales permissions to View and Edit Sales Records.
