FEX Quotes is a support tool for insurance agents serving the senior market that helps with product pricing, development, underwriting research, and agency appraisals.
Integrating FEX with AMS+ lets you run quotes directly within AMS+ from Sales Records without needing to switch tabs or windows. Note that this integration does not sync enrollment data.
Requirements
- You must be assigned to a Security Group with the Sales Enablement Visible permission.
- To set a default face value in My Agency Settings:
- You must be logged into AMS+ as an Agency User and be assigned to a Security Group with the Manage Users permission.
- To run quotes on Sales Records:
- You must be logged into AMS+ as an Agency User or Agent CRM User.
- You must have the View permission enabled for at least one Sales Record Type.
- To add information to a Sales Record needed to run quotes, you must also have the Edit permission enabled for at least one Sales Record Type.

Activating the integration
Every user who wants to run FEX quotes must connect their FEX account to AMS+.
- Go to My Account > Integrations > FEX Quotes.
- Select the Have FEX Email My Access Key button to request an access key to your email address.
To receive this email, your email address (listed under My Account > Servicing > My Info) must match the email address tied to your FEX account. If you already have your FEX access key, you can skip this step.
- Select Save.
You're now ready to start FEX quotes on Sales Records.
Default face value
On the My Agency Settings > Third Party Integrations > FEX page, you can assign a default face value that auto-populates in every FEX quote. This value can be manually changed in the quoting window.
Starting quotes in AMS+
Go to a Sales Record and select the Start Quote button to expand a dropdown menu. In the menu, select the FEX Quote option.
The Sales Record must have a date of birth, smoker status, and gender. If you're running Med Supp or Med Adv quotes, the record's age must be at least 65 to qualify for any plans.
