Connecture CRM is a self-service integration that allows agents to connect their own ConnectureDRX (PlanCompare ONE, PlanCompare Edge, or PlanCompare Edge for Agents) account directly to AMS+, independent of any agency-level connection.
With this integration, users can securely send quote data from AMS+ to ConnectureDRX, and completed enrollments send data back from ConnectureDRX to AMS+. A record does not need to already exist in AMS+ for an enrollment to sync back — if no matching Individual or Policy Record is found, Connecture CRM creates one.
Note: Rx Collect prescription and provider data is included in this integration only for AMS+ accounts on the Accelerate or Elevate package. Quoting and enrollment sync are available on all AMS+ packages.
Requirements
For AMS+
Activating the integration
- You must be the Account Owner to activate this integration.
- You must also be an Administrator to access the integration's settings:
- You must be logged into AMS+ as an Agency User.
- You must be assigned to a Security Group with the Manage Users permission.
- Once the integration is activated, any Administrator can modify its settings or deactivate the integration.
Starting quotes
- You must be logged into AMS+ as an Agency User or Agent CRM User.
- To start quotes for Individual Records:
- You must be assigned to a Security Group with the Individual Visible and Edit permissions.
- If you're an Agent CRM User, you need access to Individual Records assigned to your Accessible Agent, and optionally unassigned records.
- You must be assigned to a Security Group with the Individual Visible and Edit permissions.
For Connecture
Credentials
- You must have an active ConnectureDRX (PlanCompare ONE, PlanCompare Edge, or PlanCompare Edge for Agents) account. Each agent needs their own account with the Connecture site they want to connect.
- Unlike some integrations, you don't enter a separate username and password in AMS+. Connecture CRM connects through an authorization step you complete from inside Connecture — see Connecting your Connecture account.

Data flow
Data moves between AMS+ and ConnectureDRX in two directions, each triggered independently and on demand rather than continuously or on a set schedule.
- AMS+ to Connecture: When you select a connection from the Start Quote menu on an Individual Record, the record's demographic and prescription (Rx) data is sent to ConnectureDRX. See what data is sent to ConnectureDRX.
- ConnectureDRX to AMS+: After an enrollment is completed in ConnectureDRX through one of your connections, the enrollment's data is sent back to AMS+ automatically. See data sent to AMS+.
See Starting quotes in AMS+ for the full workflow, and Technical documentation for what's included in each direction.
Limitations
- If you have an active Connecture CRM connection, enrollments route through it — even if your agency's other Connecture integration, like PlanCompare Edge for Agents, would normally handle it.
- If you don't have an active connection, enrollments fall back to your agency's other Connecture integration, the same as always.
- If you don't select a servicing agent when connecting, the connection ends up with no servicing agent and you won't be prompted again — you'll need to set it manually. See Selecting a servicing agent.
Activating the integration (Account Owner)
- Go to My Agency Settings > Third Party Integrations.
- Find Connecture CRM in the integrations list and select it.
- Select Add to AMS+ to begin setup and activate.
See Setting up the integration for the full walkthrough.
Deactivating the integration (Administrator)
Go to My Agency Settings > Third Party Integrations > Connecture CRM and select the Deactivate button. You're asked to confirm before the integration is deactivated.
Deactivating Connecture CRM disconnects every Connecture CRM connection in your agency. While the integration is off:
- Agents' connections no longer appear in the Start Quote menu or in their own connections list.
- Incoming enrollments are acknowledged but not processed or saved.
- Agents cannot connect new Connecture accounts.
Important deactivation considerations:
- ConnectureDRX revocation: Deactivating in AMS+ stops quote requests and blocks incoming enrollments inside AMS+, but it does not automatically turn off the integration inside ConnectureDRX. To fully disconnect your agency, you must also log into your ConnectureDRX account(s) and remove or revoke the AgencyBloc app under My Connected Apps.
- Reactivation: Reactivating the integration does not restore your agents' connections. Each agent must authorize AMS+ again from their Connecture site before they can quote or receive enrollments. Consider turning the integration off only when you intend for agents to reconnect.
- Existing PlanCompare integrations: Deactivating Connecture CRM has no effect on any existing PlanCompare integrations. They continue to work as they always have.
Setting up the integration (Administrator)
For a smooth and optimal setup:
- You need an account with ConnectureDRX's PlanCompare ONE (Broker or Call Center), PlanCompare Edge, or PlanCompare Edge for Agents. These are separate subscriptions with Connecture that may include additional costs and fees outside of AMS+.
- Review your Carriers and Plans/Carrier Products in your Connecture accounts and AMS+. Their names need to match or the integration could create duplicate Carrier Records and Carrier Products in AMS+. We recommend changing the names in AMS+ to match Connecture.
- Some Connecture data can be stored in Policy Custom Fields. You may want to create Custom Fields for the Enrollment Confirmation Number and Plan ID.
Note: The Account Owner must complete setup the first time to activate. Once the Connecture CRM integration is active, any Administrator can update these settings or deactivate it.
Enabling enrollment sync
Once you've completed the initial activation setup, confirm the Sync enrollments from Connecture into AMS+ setting is on. When it’s off, the integration itself stays active and agents can still quote, but incoming enrollments won't create or update AMS+ records.
In Connecture, an enrollment includes a beneficiary and Medicare plan. In AMS+, a beneficiary is the equivalent of an Individual Record and a plan is the same as a Policy.
| Connecture | AMS+ |
|---|---|
| Beneficiary | Individual |
| Plan | Policy (and optionally Carrier Product) |
When Connecture sends enrollment data to AMS+, we will take steps to put that data in the right places based on your integration settings. See below for more details.
Individual Records
By default, we will try to match Connecture beneficiaries to existing Individual Records. We'll first try to match on a unique AMS+ identifier in the URL. If this identifier is missing, we'll try to match on First Name, Last Name, and Date of Birth. If we can't find a match, we'll create a new Individual.
Then, we can optionally update all of the Individual's fields with the new info or only the address fields, depending on your integration settings. See what Individual fields are updated.
Carrier Products
If you choose to bring over Carrier Product data, we will try to match Connecture plans to existing Carrier Products by Carrier Product Name. If we can't find a match, we can create a new Carrier Product depending on your Carrier Product Sync settings. See what Carrier Product fields are updated.
Policy Records
By default, we will automatically create a new Policy Record in AMS+ for every Connecture plan. See what Policy fields are populated.
Also, we will try to match the carrier in a ConnectureDRX enrollment to a Carrier Record by carrier name. If we can't find a match, we will create a new Carrier Record and associate it with the new Policy Record. The new Carrier Record's name will be the same as the ConnectureDRX carrier name. If we find a match, we'll associate the Carrier Record with the new Policy Record.
Connecting your ConnectureDRX account (Agency User or Agent CRM User)
Once the Connecture CRM integration is activated for your agency, you will need to authorize and connect your AMS+ account from within Connecture.
Note: If your ConnectureDRX account is with PlanCompare ONE, your upline needs to enable this integration for your agency's users before you can connect. All your upline has to do is reach out to ConnectureDRX.
- Log into your ConnectureDRX account.
- Select your account name in the top-right corner of Connecture and select Account overview.
- On the Account overview page, select My Connected Apps.
- Find the AgencyBloc card and select Share Data.
If you are not already signed in to AMS+, you may be asked to sign in first. The authorization continues automatically once you do. You do not need to start over from Connecture.
- AMS+ connects your account automatically.
There isn't a separate approval step in AMS+ — your connection is created as soon as you authorize from within Connecture.
- Select your servicing agent.
Before you're sent back to Connecture, AMS+ shows a Set Your Servicing Agent screen as part of this same automatic process. Choose which agent/agency combination this connection writes business under, then select Finish Setup — nothing is pre-selected, and Finish Setup can't be selected without choosing one. Leaving this screen without choosing doesn't undo the connection; it's just left with no servicing agent. See Selecting a servicing agent for what that means.
- You are returned to Connecture, or to your AMS+ dashboard if Connecture doesn't provide a page to return you to.
Repeat this process for each ConnectureDRX account you want to connect. Each connection is listed and labeled with that ConnectureDRX site's name.
Disconnecting a connection
To fully revoke access, you must complete two steps:
- In AMS+, go to My Account > Integrations > Connecture CRM and select Disconnect.
You're asked to confirm before the disconnect takes effect. Once disconnected, the connection no longer appears in your Start Quote menu; your other connections are not affected.
- Log into your ConnectureDRX account, navigate to Account overview > My Connected Apps, and revoke or disconnect the AgencyBloc card.
Note: If you reconnect to the same Connecture site later, it reattaches to the same connection instead of creating a duplicate.
Managing connections across your agency (Administrator)
Administrators can view every Connecture CRM connection in the agency and disable individual ones, for example when offboarding an agent, from My Agency Settings > Third Party Integrations > Connecture CRM > Connections. Every active connection is listed with the Connecture site's name and the agent who authorized it. Disabling a connection requires confirmation and only affects that one connection — the agent's other connections, and other agents' connections to the same Connecture site, are unaffected.
Note: Disabling an agent's connection in AMS+ stops their quotes and enrollments in AMS+, but does not revoke their app authorization inside ConnectureDRX. When offboarding an agent, ensure their access is also revoked under My Connected Apps inside ConnectureDRX.
Selecting a servicing agent (Agency User or Agent CRM User)
When you connect a ConnectureDRX account (see Connecting your ConnectureDRX account), AMS+ shows this screen automatically — right after you grant access in Connecture and before you're sent back.
You're asked to choose which agent/agency combination the connection writes business under. Nothing is pre-selected, and you can't select Finish Setup without choosing one — but the connection itself is already created at this point, so leaving the screen without answering doesn't undo it. It just leaves the connection with no servicing agent, as covered below.
When an enrollment creates a new record, this selection sets:
- The Servicing Agent on the new Individual Record
- The Agent Number on the new Policy
If the enrollment matches an existing Individual Record instead, that record's Servicing Agent stays as it was.
Each connection has its own selection. With more than one connection, each can point to a different agent/agency — change or remove a selection any time from My Account > Integrations > Connecture CRM.
A connection can end up with no servicing agent if:
- You leave the prompt without choosing
- You have no agent/agency combinations available
- The combination you chose is later deactivated
Nothing flags this, and you aren't prompted again. Enrollments still process, but the records they create have no Servicing Agent or Agent Number until you set one. If a deactivated combination is reactivated, your original selection comes back automatically.
Starting quotes in AMS+ (Agency User or Agent CRM User)
- Open an Individual Record.
- Select the Start Quote button.
Each of your connected ConnectureDRX accounts appears as its own option, labeled Send to [site name]. Connections only appear here while your agency has Connecture CRM enabled; if an Account Owner turns the integration off, your connections are hidden from Start Quote until it's turned back on. Your connections themselves are not affected.
- Select the connection you want to quote through.
AMS+ signs you into that ConnectureDRX site and sends the record's demographic and prescription (Rx) data along with the quote.
- Complete the enrollment in ConnectureDRX.
The enrollment syncs back to AMS+ automatically. See Data sent to AMS+.
Note: Data does not sync automatically in either direction. To push updated client data from AMS+ to ConnectureDRX, resend the Individual Record using the Start Quote button. Data is only pushed from ConnectureDRX to AMS+ when an enrollment is completed there.
Technical documentation
Note: The integration includes Rx Collect prescription and provider data only for AMS+ accounts on the Accelerate or Elevate subscription packages.

Carrier Products
Here's what ConnectureDRX sends to AMS+ for Carrier Products:
| ConnectureDRX Field | AMS+ Field |
|---|---|
| Plan Type | Coverage Type* |
| Product Name** |
*We'll look up the corresponding Coverage Type that you've mapped the given Plan Type to. If the specified Coverage Type field option has been deleted or inactivated, we will automatically create that field option and/or make it active in your AMS+ account.
**We'll look up the field "Match ConnectureDRX Plans to Carrier Products by" from the Sync Setup tab of the integration. If you have selected "PlanName + Plan ID" then Product Name = Plan Name + Plan ID. If you have selected "PlanName" then Product Name = Plan Name.
Note: Does not include attachments or files.
Policy Records
| ConnectureDRX Field | AMS+ Field |
|---|---|
| Carrier Name | Carrier Name* |
| Enrollment Confirmation Number | Policy Custom Field and/or Policy Number** |
| Premium Per Month | Premium |
| Submission Date | App Submit Date |

| Plan Type | Coverage Type |
| Plan ID | Policy Custom Field**** |
| Carrier Product***** |
*If Carrier Name does not exist in AMS+, we'll create a new Carrier Record where the Carrier Name = ConnectureDRX Carrier Name.
**This integration setting is optional. Depending on your settings, we'll attempt to populate the ConnectureDRX Enrollment Confirmation Number in a Policy Custom Field and/or the Policy Number field. Typically a temporary number for tracking a Policy until its real policy number is issued.
***See Selecting a servicing agent for more.
****This integration setting is optional. Depending on your settings, we'll attempt to populate the ConnectureDRX Plan ID in the specified Policy Custom Field. If no Policy Custom Field is selected, we will not populate the ConnectureDRX Plan ID.
*****This integration setting is optional. Depending on your settings, we'll attempt to match ConnectureDRX Plans to Carrier Products in AMS+ by "Plan Name" or "Plan Name + Plan ID." If a match is found, we will associate the Carrier Product with the Policy. If a matching Carrier Product is not found, we can create a new Carrier Product and associate it with the Policy depending on your settings.
Troubleshooting
A connection isn't showing up in the Start Quote menu.
Connecture CRM may not be enabled for your agency, or you may not have completed the authorization from inside Connecture yourself — connections are per-agent, so a teammate's or upline's connection won't appear for you. A connection whose site name wasn't captured during authorization is also not offered in the menu.
An Account Owner or Administrator can check whether the integration is enabled under My Agency Settings > Third Party Integrations > Connecture CRM. If it isn't enabled, the message you see when trying to connect also names your Account Owner so you know who to ask. If the integration was recently turned off and back on, authorize AgencyBloc again from your Connecture site to re-establish the connection.
Enrollments aren't appearing in AMS+.
This happens when Enrollment Sync is turned off in your agency's Connecture CRM settings, the integration has been deactivated, the connection the enrollment came through has been disconnected or disabled, or the agent's AMS+ user account has been deactivated.
Correct whichever condition applies. If the integration was deactivated, reactivating it isn't enough on its own — the agent also has to authorize again from Connecture before enrollments resume. In every other case, enrollments on active connections process normally again with no further action.
