Overview
AgentMethods is a website marketing platform for independent insurance agents. This integration creates Individual Records, Sales Records, and Activities in AMS+ for leads in AgentMethods.

Setting up the integration
To set up the integration, you need:
- An API SID and API key from AMS+
- An account with AgentMethods
You can submit a request for your API SID and API key to help@agencybloc.com. Even if you already have this information from a previous integration, we highly recommend using a unique set of credentials for each integration you are leveraging.
Note: API keys grant full access to your AMS+ account, so protect them the same way you protect your AMS+ account password.
With your API SID and API key on hand, go into your AgentMethods account to finish setup.
Sending data to AMS+
Once activated, you can use this integration to send new AgentMethod leads to AMS+ and AMS+ contacts to AgentMethods.

Individual Records

*Home phone is the primary number. If there is no home phone, then the cell phone number is used. If neither home or cell phone are available, the business phone number is used.

Activities
The integration can create Activities for Individual and Sales Records in AMS+:
- When a new lead comes into AgentMethods. The Activity will have a subject line of "AgentMethods - New Lead" and a status of “Not Started”.
- When a tracked customer visits the AgentMethods website. The Activity will have a subject line of "AgentMethods - Website Visit" and a status of “Complete”.
- When there is email activity with a contact in AgentMethods. The Activity will have a subject line of "AgentMethods - Email #{event}" and a status of “Complete”. The event options of delivered, opened, clicked will be included in the Activity notes.
If you want the integration to create Activities for new AgentMethod leads, you will need to supply the integration with an AMS+ User ID. The integration will assign Activities to the User ID for follow-up. To get a User ID, you either need to be an administrator in AMS+ or have one help you.
If you’re an administrator with the “Manage Users” permission, here’s how you can find the User ID:
- Go to Settings.
- Go to Users
- Select the AMS+ User you want the AgentMethods integration to assign Activities to.
- In the user details, look at the URL in your browser's address bar and write down the number at the end of the URL or copy it.
- This number is the User ID.
- Log in to the AgentMethods app and add the User ID to the "Assign follow-ups to an AMS+ UserID" integration setting for AMS+.
Setting up an Automated Workflow for AgentMethods leads
Using Servicing and Sales Automated Workflow, you can immediately reach out to new AgentMethods leads that have been sent over to AMS+. When a new lead comes in, they will receive a welcome email.
