This article explains how to view sent emails and campaign activity on records in AMS+.
Requirements
- To view sent emails and campaigns for Agent Records:
- You must be logged into AMS+ as an Agency User.
- You must be assigned to a Security Group with the Agent Visible and Edit permissions.
- In addition, you may need access to Agent Records assigned to your Accessible Agent.
- To view sent emails and campaigns for Group Records:
- You must be logged into AMS+ as an Agency User or Agent CRM User.
- You must be assigned to a Security Group with the Group Visible and Edit permissions.
- If you’re an Agent CRM User, you need access to Group Records assigned to your Accessible Agent, and optionally unassigned records.
- To view sent emails and campaigns for Individual Records:
- You must be logged into AMS+ as an Agency User or Agent CRM User.
- You must be assigned to a Security Group with the Individual Visible and Edit permissions.
- If you’re an Agent CRM User, you need access to Individual Records assigned to your Accessible Agent, and optionally unassigned records.
- To view sent emails and campaigns for Policy Records:
- You must be logged into AMS+ as an Agency User or Agent CRM User.
- You must be assigned to a Security Group with the Policy Visible and Edit permissions.
- If you’re an Agent CRM User, you need access to Policy Records assigned to your Accessible Agent, and optionally unassigned records.
View sent emails on a record
Once emails are sent from Automated Workflow or Email Marketing, you can view the email content and interaction details in the Outgoing tab under the Emails tab. Use this information to catch up on the latest communications sent to a recipient and review email communications to prepare for any future contact points.
- Go to a record (Agent Record, Group Record, Individual Record, or Policy Record).
- Select the Emails > Outgoing tab.
Sent emails display differently depending on the record type:
Emails sent to Individual or Agent recipients
The Outgoing tab for Individual and Agent records shows all emails that were sent from AMS+ to an Individual or Agent recipient.
- Select the email subject to view its content.
- If you want more information about a particular campaign or workflow, or want to review its performance, select the campaign name (only users with Manage Email Marketing permission will see a link) or workflow name (only users with Manage Automated Workflow permission will see a link).
- You can filter and sort through the sent emails to locate a particular email.

| Associated With | Record that met the criteria or triggered the campaign: Agent, Group, Individual, or Policy. |

| Opened | Number of times the email was opened. |
| Clicked | The number of times a URL in the email (if included) was clicked. |
Emails sent to Individuals associated to a Group or Policy Record
The Outgoing tab for a Group Record shows all emails that were sent to its primary contact.
- A Group Record can only have one primary contact, but its primary contact can change.
- You may see sent emails for multiple primary contacts.
- You can also view emails sent to the group’s individuals.
The Outgoing tab for a policy record shows all emails that were sent to its policyholder, servicing agents, account manager, or system users.
- For Group Policies, you can view emails sent to the policy’s associated individuals.
- To review overall details of the campaign or workflow that generated the email, select the campaign name (only users with the Manage Email Marketing permission will see a link) or workflow name (only users with the Manage Automated Workflow permission will see a link).
- You can filter and sort through the sent emails to locate a particular email.

View campaign details
After an Email Marketing campaign has been created and activated, you can view the campaign details for a record in the Emails > Campaigns tab. Use the Campaigns tab to review, monitor, and manage your Email Marketing campaigns.
For example:
- Campaign: The campaign is for the policy, so it ties to the Policy Record.
- Outgoing: The email is sent to an individual, so it ties to the Individual Record.

| Sent to | The campaign’s recipient type: Individual, Primary Contact of Groups, Policyholders, Primary Contact of Group Policies, Agent, Group Individuals, Group Policy Individuals. |
| Last Sent To | Recipient that received the most recent campaign email. |
| Last Sent Date | Date the email was sent. |
| Status | The campaign status: completed or removed. If removed, the date and time the record was removed will also display. |
Remove a recipient
While on the Campaigns tab, you can remove the record from active email campaigns. By removing the record, it will be excluded from further campaign actions.
