This article explains how to review and monitor the performance of email campaigns in Email Marketing in AMS+.
Requirements
- Email Marketing must be activated in your agency's AMS+ account.
- Only the Account Owner can activate it. Learn more.
- You must be logged into AMS+ as an Agency User.
- You must be assigned to a Security Group with the Manage Email Marketing permission.
Access email campaigns
Access the Overview tab to review performance across all email campaigns and identify trends, delivery issues, and engagement.
- Go to Email Marketing > Servicing.
- Select the Overview tab.
Review overall campaign performance
The Overview section displays data across all email campaigns, allowing you to monitor activity and identify patterns across multiple campaigns.
Timeline of Emails
Review how often emails are sent across all campaigns over time.
- Displays the number of emails sent across all campaigns.
- Hover over the graph to view details for a specific date.
- Use the timeframe filter to view the Last 30 days or Last 12 months.
- This helps monitor sending frequency and identify changes in email activity.
Highest Bounce & Spam
This area displays campaigns with the highest number of spam complaints and hard bounces to identify delivery or compliance issues.
Filter campaigns by status:
- All
- Paused
- Disabled
- Completed
Email Campaigns List
Displays a list of all email campaigns so you can locate and access specific campaigns to review performance in more detail.
Filter campaigns by:
- All campaigns
- Sent in the last 30 days
- Draft
- Pending
Select a campaign name to open campaign details.
View a campaign
Selecting a campaign name opens a detailed view where you can review three primary areas: Details, Performance, and Email.
Details tab
This tab provides a summary of your campaign setup:
- Email Campaign Recap: Shows the email subject line. If variable data placeholders were used, they appear in brackets [ ] and are replaced with actual data when viewed on a recipient's record.
- Campaign Details: Summarizes the campaign name, recipients, total emails, and sender information.
- Recipient Details: Summarizes the filters used to select the recipient list.
Performance tab
Monitor the overall health of your campaign in this area:
- Bounce & Spam Rate: Displays complaint and bounce metrics to help you monitor campaign health.
- Email Performance: Lists each email drip in the campaign with specific percentages for opens, clicks, and opt-outs.
- Metrics include:
- Opens
- Clicks
- Opt-outs
- Bounces
- Spam complaints
Use this data to evaluate:
- How often emails are opened
- Whether recipients are selecting links
- Overall engagement with the campaign
Email tab
This tab offers deeper insights into recipient engagement through three sub-sections: Timeline, Recipients, and Links & Clicks.
Note: If you are reviewing a campaign with multiple emails, use the dropdown to view the results of each individual drip.
Timeline
Understand when recipients interact with your emails.
- Displays when recipients open emails, select links, or report spam.
- Set a date range and select metrics to compare activity.
- Use this data to understand when recipients typically interact with your emails.
Recipients
Displays a list of recipients for the email and their interaction status.
Use the dropdown to filter recipients by interaction type:
- Opens & Clicks: Recipients who opened the email and, if applicable, selected a link.
- All: All recipients.
- Bounces: Recipients where the email bounced.
- Spam: Recipients who reported the email as spam.
By default, the list is sorted by most recent interaction. Select a column header to sort the list or use the search field to find a specific recipient.
Links & Clicks
Displays link interaction metrics so you can analyze how recipients interact with links in your email content.
- Use this data to evaluate which links recipients select and how they interact with email content.
- If no links are included in the email, no data is displayed.
