This article explains when you can edit an Email Marketing campaign, what changes you can make based on its status, and how to update campaign details, email content, and scheduling.

Requirements
- Email Marketing must be activated in your agency's AMS+ account.
- Only the Account Owner can activate it. Learn more.
- You must be logged into AMS+ as an Agency User.
- You must be assigned to a Security Group with the Manage Email Marketing permission.
When you can edit a campaign
You can edit a campaign based on its status.
You can edit a campaign when it is:

DRAFT
- Campaign has not been scheduled to send.

PENDING
- Campaign has been scheduled to send.
- Editing the campaign pauses it, and it must be resumed to continue sending.

ACTIVE
- Campaign is actively sending emails.
- If using drip emails, the campaign remains active until all emails are sent.
- Editing the campaign pauses it, and it must be resumed to continue sending.

PAUSED
- Campaign has been paused.
- Emails will not send until the campaign is resumed.
You can’t edit a campaign when it is:

COMPLETE
- Campaign has finished sending all emails.

RETIRED
- Campaign has been permanently inactivated.
What you can edit
What you can edit depends on the campaign status and whether emails have started sending.
If the campaign status is DRAFT
You can edit everything.
If the campaign status is PENDING, ACTIVE, or PAUSED

Note: Changes to email content after a campaign has started sending apply only to remaining unsent emails.
Edit a campaign
When a campaign is PENDING or ACTIVE, you must pause it to make edits.
To edit a campaign:
- Go to the Email Marketing > Servicing > Email Campaigns tab.
- Select the name of the campaign you want to edit.
- Select the Edit button.
- On the Edit Campaign step, review the campaign details and email content.
- If you need to make edits, refer to the What you can edit section for available options based on status.
- After making updates, select the Resume button to continue sending.
