Common Questions
Your Personal Dashboard
Your Personal dashboard is made up of items you’ve favorited to build your own tailored view. It is the first thing you'll see when going to the dashboards area and can be referred to when you need information quickly. By default, your Activity List is included to get you started. Add favorites to create a hub of information to gain insight from graphs. Favorite saved searches you’ve created to quickly access real-time lists and reports.
Adding to your Personal Dashboard
What can I favorite?
You can favorite your activity list, any activity graphs, agency dashboard graphs (if you have permissions), and any of your saved searches. Combine your favorites from different areas to set what you want to see on your personal dashboard.
How do I add or remove favorites?
Adding favorites is done with a simple click of the star icon. Once clicked, the item will be added to your personal dashboard.
To remove a favorite, simply click the star on the favorited item and it will be removed from your personal dashboard. Please note, if you unfavorite an item while viewing your personal dashboard, it won’t be removed until you reload the page.
Empty Star: Not on your personal dashboard.
Full Star: On your personal dashboard.
Organizing your Personal Dashboard
Once you’ve starred items, you can set the order. To organize your personal dashboard, click and hold the top portion of the graph or saved search, then drag it to where you want it to go on the page.
Please note: the activity list, saved searches, and a couple graphs fill the full width of the screen. Most other graphs are split into columns to view side by side.
Example:
Activity List: spans the full width
Open Activities - By Status graph: only spans a column.
Common Questions
Why can’t I see or add some of the graphs for individuals, groups, or policies?
You can favorite graphs you have permission to see. So, if you don’t have access to the Agency Dashboard, you can favorite items from your activities dashboard and saved searches.
How do I create and use saved searches?
Good question! Check out the article on Advanced & Saved Searches and review tips for saved searches for ideas on using advanced search.
What should I put on my personal dashboard? Any suggestions?
That greatly depends on your agency, role, and user permissions. Items that you use frequently or need to access quickly are good ideas to add to your favorites. Here are a few examples of personalized dashboards to get some ideas.
Is there a limit to how many items I can add?
Nope! Just keep in mind, the more items you add, the fuller the page will be. We suggest adding between 4-8 items so you can quickly scan and reference items. Keep in mind, you can favorite and unfavorite items as needed. So, for different times of the year, it might be helpful to favorite one item and unfavorite another - like during open enrollment or a busy time of year.
