To see the Phone Dialer in the AMS+ navigation, you need to activate it. You can do this by turning on click-to-call or by creating a call queue with a user assigned. This article explains the click-to-call activation method.
Once you activate the Phone Dialer and have an active VoIP number, you can make calls and send texts from AMS+. Need a VoIP number? Refer to this article to learn how to add and set up a VoIP number.

Turn on click-to-call to activate the Phone Dialer
Note: You must belong to a Security Group with the “Manage Users” Administrative permission to turn on click-to-call.
- Go to Settings.
- Navigate to the Sales > Phone Dialer & Call Queues setting and select the 'EDIT' button.
- On the Click-To-Call tab, check the ‘Activate Click-to-Call’ and ‘Activate Call Recording’ checkboxes.
- We recommend also turning call recording on if you want to record all inbound and outbound calls.
- The Phone icon should now appear in your navigation. Selecting the icon will display a menu of options for you to launch the dialer and make a call, access call queues, listen to voicemails, and view missed calls and unassigned call recordings.
