February 16, 2026: This article includes screenshots and steps for the updated voicemail email notification settings in AMS+, which are being released in phases. There is no new functionality with this update. The settings have been moved from the phone number level to the voicemail box. If your account does not yet match what is shown here, that is expected. The updated settings will be enabled automatically as part of the rollout, and your Account Owner will receive an email notification when they are available for your agency.
Voicemail boxes in AMS+ are part of the VoIP system and store voicemail messages for users and ring groups. When a caller leaves a voicemail, AMS+ can send email notifications to one or more recipients associated with the voicemail box.
