Overview
The Commission Not Received report shows missing payments from the carriers. This article covers the preconfigured standard report and includes a Custom Reporting recipe. You can use the recipe to build your own versions of the Commission Not Received report.
Note: Only accounts with Commissions+ can access and use AMS+'s commission features.

Standard Report details
Run the Commission Not Received report by Bill From Date or Statement Date, and send them to the carriers for reconciling. Your report download will include information on the policy, policyholder, carrier, commission frequency, and servicing agent.
You will also see columns for every month that you specified in the report criteria. These columns will show you exactly which months your agency received or did not receive commission with one of these descriptions:
- Not Received - This means a payment has not been received from the carrier.
- Received (amount) - If a payment has been received, the amount will be shown.
- N/A - A payment was not expected from the carrier.
Compare the commission frequency against the commission activity. This will help you reconcile the activities you see. If the commission frequency of a policy is bi-monthly, for example, you might expect to see “N/A” every other month for that policy. Learn more about commission frequency.
Custom Reporting recipe
With Custom Reporting, you can access the same data as the Standard Report but you’ll have more flexibility to choose the columns and filters for your report. Below is a recipe to help you get started.
Note: You must have projection tables set up to pull helpful data with this report recipe.
- Select 'Policies' report type
- You cannot build this report using other report types. The Policy Projected Commissions fields are only available in the ‘Policies’ report type.
